Surrogacy for a single
parent
Parenthood is possible for everyone, even if you’re single – we can help.
Single parents can have children too – we know how!
Important things that you need to know:
- Unmarried individuals can pursue surrogacy in Armenia.
- You must be legally in Armenia when signing the surrogacy agreement or POA.
- The birth certificate will be in your name.
- They have no claim to the child.
- Egg and sperm donation are permitted.
- It can be brought into and out of Armenia.
- It's required for the birth certificate.
- If using donor gametes, no donor agreement is necessary.

Creation of the CONTRACT.
Documentation of rights, obligations, guarantees between the Stork Service center and biological parents.

PREPARATORY STEPS
Selection of surrogate mother, if necessary also donor of oocytes, medical procedures for obtaining oocytes.

IVF of surrogate mother
Replanting of embryo obtained in the laboratory into surrogate mother’s uterine cavity. In certain circumstances, a frozen embryo is used.

Surrogate mother’s PREGNANCY
Providing medical and psychological monitoring of woman’s condition during pregnancy, organization of payment according to schedule.

BIRTH OF A CHILD
Organization of childbirth in one of the partner clinics. For biological parents, it is possible to see the baby in the first hours of its life.

Legalization of parenthood
Assistance in issuing a birth certificate, where biological parents of the child are recorded, as well as documents for traveling home with the baby.
